Post Thailand

    Hello,
We have been back in Tucson for a little over a week and I already miss it. The people are so welcoming and friendly, and the food is amazing. It was really nice exploring the city with some of the Thai students, and going to different cafes. We have had the opportunity to see many temples and palaces, as well as lots of shopping. One of my favorite parts of the trip was pharmacy rotations we were placed in. I particularly liked how the pharmacies are staffed enough so that the pharmacist and interns can do home health visits. The pharmacists are very personable with the patients and build relationships with them before going in to the medication reconciliations. All in all, I am very thankful for the opportunity to go on this trip and making new friends.  Thailand you will be missed and will never be forgotten.

Post Thailand

Hello,

It has now been over a week since we arrived home from Thailand and I am still so excited about the culture I was able to experience, what I was able to learn about Thai Pharmacy, and the wonderful people I was fortunate enough to meet. This trip is something I will never forget. Prior to arriving I was not sure what to expect. I knew that we would get to sight see in Bangkok and anticipated that the places we would visit would have amazing architecture. I anticipated that we would learn about pharmacy practice in Thailand. But the expectations I had regarding this trip were definitely surpassed. Every palace and temple that we visited was breath taking. I stood amazed at the beauty of the Grand Palace. The intricate designs of the buildings are some of the most beautiful I have yet to see. Aside from the tourist attractions that we were able to enjoy, the most memorable part of the trip for me was the exposure we had to Thai pharmacy practice. We were so graciously welcomed into their practice. I am thankful to all who took the time to host us and make our trip so memorable. I am especially thankful to my classmates, IPSF, and Dr. Michael Katz, who made this trip possible. Thailand, Khob khan Krab and until next time.
