Sawadee-ka

Sawadee-ka means hello in Thai, so Sawadee-ka Everyone!!!

Today was the 3rd day of being in Bangkok and we have seen so many Temples and been to various markets trying new food and spending too much money. We are still trying to adjust to the humidity and the flash floods that happen everyday are not helping with that, but we still have fun! Yesterday, we had the  opportunity to dress up in traditional Thai outfits which was a really neat experience to see their official dress. After dressing up in the outfits, we got to walk around and see the different time periods of Thailand and how the people lived. We also got to make lotus flowers to pay respect to the king, who passed away last October. One of the other unique experiences that we got to do was to go to a floating market. We all got to ride in wooden boats and float down the river, this was unique because as we floated down the river, there were a ton of boats that had trinkets or food to sell. The coconut ice cream and mango sticky rice were some of our favorite desserts, would definitely recommend and eat everyday!!

Kob Khun Ka (Thank you) and Much love,
